The vulva is the external genital area. Learning the landmarks makes it easier to find the clit without confusing it with nearby openings.
Core landmarks
The labia majora are outer folds. The labia minora are inner folds. The clitoral hood sits near the top, and the clitoral glans may sit under or just below it.
The urethral opening is below the clitoris. The vaginal opening is lower. They are separate openings with different functions.
Shape, color, size, and visibility vary widely. Normal anatomy is not one single look.
