Editorial Policy

Find the Clit publishes adult anatomy education. Our goal is clear, accurate, inclusive guidance that helps readers understand anatomical landmarks without replacing medical care.

Published and last updated August 15, 2026.

Source selection

We prioritize official medical organizations, government or university health resources, clinical reference works, and peer-reviewed research. Important anatomy and health claims link to the source closest to the claim. We avoid treating unsourced social posts, affiliate pages, or search snippets as medical evidence.

Sources are selected for relevance and authority, not because they mention or link to this site. A citation does not imply that the source endorses Find the Clit.

Update method

We review a page when its source changes, a correction is received, new evidence materially affects its claims, or the page receives a substantive editorial revision. Visible publication and update dates reflect meaningful content work, not automatic date changes.

Search terms may help us understand reader questions, but they do not justify unsupported claims or thin pages made only to target wording variants.

Corrections

Send a correction with the page URL, disputed statement, and supporting source to [email protected]. We assess the evidence, correct confirmed errors, and update the page date when the change is substantive.

Authorship and review

Current guides are published by the Find the Clit organization. We do not claim medical or educator review unless a named qualified reviewer has agreed to review the specific page. No such reviewer claim is currently made.

Conflicts of interest

Clinical guides are separated from affiliate recommendations. Commercial links use clear labels and do not influence anatomy claims or source selection. Affiliate relationships may generate revenue at no added cost to the reader.

AI assistance

AI tools may assist with outlines, consistency checks, code, or summarizing candidate sources. A human publisher is responsible for the final wording, checks claims against cited sources, and decides what is published. AI output is not treated as a medical source.

Scope and safety

The site is for adults 18+ and provides education, not diagnosis, treatment, or individualized medical advice. Readers should consult a qualified clinician about pain, injury, bleeding, numbness, infection symptoms, or other health concerns.
